Garco is proud to announce we are almost complete with the Evergreen Middle School Modernization & Addition project. We will have substantial completion for the entire project on August 18, 2017.
The $22 million dollar project is part of the Central Valley School District’s $122 million dollar Bond campaign approved by voters in 2015. The Evergreen Middle School project included selective demolition and abatement of the existing school facility, complete modernization of the existing 76,570 SF building, new play fields and tennis courts, bus and fire lanes, landscaping, parking and various site improvements. A 27,000 SF addition added new classroom space, restrooms, relocated kitchen and library and expanded multi-purpose room. The additional areas will also provide the necessary space to relocate educational programs formerly housed in the existing portables on the east side of the building.
The project is a testament to the teamwork between the Central Valley School District, OAC (program/project manager for the Owner), ALSC Architects, Coffman Engineers, DCI Engineers, MSI Engineers, SPVV Landscape Architects, the City of Spokane Valley, all of our project trade partners, and Garco Construction.
We’d like to thank the Central Valley School District for the opportunity to serve and to facilitate this most important investment in our community.
