The Spokane Central Service Center (915 Nelson Road Spokane WA 99202) completed the steel framing at the end of October and has begun to install the roof system, taking advantage of as many rain free days as this time of year will allow. Below-grade drainage and earthwork is also nearing completion in November and electrical specifications
In January, Garco Construction, in conjunction with Bernardo Willis Architects, was awarded the contract by the City of Spokane, to be the Design-Builder for the new facility that will house and maintain the City of Spokane’s Fleet Services. The project will consolidate repair and maintenance of the City’s vehicle fleet into one location and will provide the City with a compressed natural gas facility which they anticipate will save them $9 million dollars over the 10 ten years in operational efficiencies and with the conversion from diesel fuel to compressed natural gas vehicles.
