Spokane International Airport (SIA) Terminal Renovation and Expansion Project (TREX)
Client: Spokane Airport Board
Project Location: Spokane, WA
Spokane International Airport Terminal Renovation and Expansion project (SIA TREX) is a 144,000-square-foot expansion to Spokane International Airport’s Concourse C. This multi-phase project is divided into C Concourse West and East. Garco Construction and its Joint Venture Partner, Q&D Construction, are expanding the existing terminal and adding 7 new boarding bridges, expanding the ticketing area and modernizing the existing terminal.
Recently completed milestones and upcoming work:
Just in time for the cold weather, we have enclosed the west phase of the project with the new ticketing addition following quickly behind. All concrete and steel is wrapped up, and the exterior is beginning to shine as the veneer and metal wall panels wrap up. We are almost complete with the airside PCC paving, as well as completed the paving for the new access road and loading dock. The interior is roughed-in as we prepare to start finishes in the upcoming month. The new baggage conveyor system is complete in the expanded portion of the project as we work with SIA to begin incorporating it into the redesign. We will soon begin standing temporary walls to start tying the new and the old together
