Farwest Steel – Steel Distribution Facility
Location: Post Falls, ID
Anticipated
Completion: December 2023

Project Summary:

This project is a concrete tilt-up building with 100,000 SF of warehouse and material processing space and 8,000 SF of office space for a steel distribution company based out of Eugene, Oregon. There are 64 total concrete panels on this project: 56 warehouse panels and 8 office panels. On the interior of the warehouse, there are three large bays which run the length of the building. Each bay will have one 10-ton bridge crane, with plans to add two more 10-ton cranes and a 30-ton crane with a rotator in the future. There are four total truck bays which run the width of the building. At the northernmost truck bay, there is a rail spur which enters the building on the west side and ends at the opposite side of the building. The total property size is about 440,000 SF (10.1 acres) with enough space for a second, smaller building. This secondary building is currently part of phase II and is not part of the immediate construction plans.
