Garco and Bernardo Wills Architects teamed up on this design-build project. The Wenatchee WSDOT Euclid Avenue administration facility is a 31,000 SF project designed to consolidate two existing WSDOT locations into one facility. This building is located on the same campus as WSDOT’s consolidated shops buildings.
This project has achieved a mobile office concept with a goal of creating greater collaboration to attract younger more diverse talent to WSDOT. This building includes an open office concept for individual work and several smaller meeting rooms called dens for private meetings and large conference rooms to facilitate large scale meetings. The building includes multiple working environments including common break areas and exterior decks. The work environment is enhanced by the large expanse of windows throughout the building allowing for natural light into the interior. Throughout the design development process our team met regularly with WSDOT’s end users to ensure clear understanding of their needs, project goals, and program requirements.
