In the winter of 2015, the Kalispel Tribe awarded Garco this design-build project with the intent to design and construct a four-star gastropub in their newly acquired Golf and Country Club in North Spokane. The existing facility was operating as the long time club known as the Spokane Country Club. The tribe’s goal was to revamp the existing clubhouse, creating an upbeat, lively gastropub open to the public as well as its members. The most challenging demand was the tribe’s need to open the facility by April of 2016. Without delay, we agreed to meet the needs of the client and provide an end result we could all be proud of.
The renovations included the installation of a new gastropub and restaurant, new banquet hall, upgrades to the kitchen and bar area, new HVAC and lighting, asbestos abatement and removal, new pro shop, patio area, and updated reception space. Additionally, this project extended the existing parking lot to work with the redesign of the entrance approaches and new landscaping.
