The Spokane Public Facilities District worked in collaboration with Garco Construction, ALSC Architects (Spokane), and LMN Architects (Seattle), for the phased construction of the $50 Million 92,000 square foot Spokane Convention Center Expansion project in November of 2013. The first phase of the project includes the construction of a larger exhibit hall on the north side of the second floor of the convention center, and a 10,000 square foot “green roof” area outside the new exhibit space. The second phase of this project featured a new 12,000 square foot Centennial Ballroom on the first floor, below the expanded exhibit hall. This project was certified as a LEED Silver Building.
