The JBLM Gray Army Airfield Fire Station is a 27,928 SF building (designed to be registered as LEED Silver and is currently in the certification process) located on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The project consisted of reinforced concrete foundations, steel framing, insulated masonry shell and a metal roof. It included five new apparatus maintenance bays for 10 fire, crash and rescue vehicles; administrative space; kitchen; living quarters; and exercise room. The project also included a parking lot, landscaping, irrigation, and site improvements.

WHH Nisqually-Garco Construction JV served as prime contractor on this project for the US Army Corps of Engineers. Approximately 34% of the contract was self-performed by Prime Contractor. This includes all earthwork; concrete foundations and slabs; and structural steel installation.
