This multi-phase project consisted of several new businesses for the Kalispel Tribe. The new Kalispel Casino is located adjacent to the convenience store and Fresh Market place using 22,00 SF of the buildings 31,000 SF footprint. Garco was awarded this project in 2017 and worked closely with the tribe to deliver the project under a design-build delivery method.
The casino features a new dining space, gaming floor, full-service bar, gaming tables, convention hall and all back-of-house operations. The convenience store and fresh market use 9,000 SF of the building bringing fresh foods and produce to the area. The fueling side of the project consists of three new underground tanks servicing the areas demand for retail fuel services as well as large commercial truck traffic under a dedicated truck canopy.
The facility also offers laundry services, showers and overnight truck parking for the long haul truckers. The project also was developed with a 33 RV sites featuring fully-serviced sites and eight individual private stand alone cottages. To add to the projects diversity, a 5,000 SF storage facility was constructed to meet the areas demand for temporary public rental storage.
