The new Almira Campus is a comprehensive place of community gathering, learning, and athletically competing. The 43,000
square feet school has 2 learning communities, one for elementary, and one for middle school. Each learning community has
4 dedicated classrooms, 1 flex classroom, and two small group learning spaces outside of the classroom. Within the school
a 230-person performance space can transform the day-to-day multi-purpose room into a top-notch theatre, furthering the
community’s storied history of performing arts and music programs. A larger than normal gymnasium has the capacity for
300+ seating for sports games and large school events. The district office is located adjacent to the school library to utilize
the space for district meetings. The trades and athletics will greatly improve on campus in a new 2,000 square feet separate
structure housing CTE and fitness studio, with easy communal access not needing to open the entire school. The tight 2.5
acre site with over 25’ of contour change created two distinct play areas, small child play area for grades k-3, and a more active
social play zone for grades 4-8. The new campus has amenities for all types of learners and community members, a beacon
for the next 75 years for this quaint rural town.
