We love sharing our Meet the Team Monday post series on social media where we can introduce you to new staff and get to know our existing team. We hope you enjoy learning more about our team too!

Meet the Team – New Team Members Jason & Jeff!

JASON MCDONALD  – ARCHITECT

Architect Jason McDonald joined Garco this past fall and leads the in-house design team. Jason shares, “My wife and I have been working towards moving to the Spokane area for three years. Part of this effort included finding a job I was interested in at a good company. When I found an opening for the architect position at Garco, it seemed like a perfect match. Coming from a smaller design build firm in Monroe, LA, I was excited about the opportunity to direct the design department of a larger company with many diverse and interesting projects.”
Jason is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University, and brings more than eight years of professional design experience to the Garco team. He had early hands-on experience in construction helping his dad flip houses. Outside of work Jason loves to golf, go for a ride on his motorcycle, and is working on getting his pilot’s license. He also enjoys going on hikes, and camping with his wife (pictured with him here). He shares, “We hope to take up skiing and other winter actives soon, since this is my first time living in a real winter area. I also enjoy supporting my wife’s horse riding activities, as she is a competitive dressage rider.”

JEFF SKEELE- SITE SAFETY & HEALTH OFFICER
Site Safety & Health Officer Jeff Skeele joined our team this fall at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Hydrant Fuel Replacement Project. Jeff brings 45 years of industry experience to the team, most focused in construction management. Jeff says, “I’ve heard nothing but good things about Garco and its employees. I’m was excited about becoming a member of such a wonderful team.”
In his free time, Jeff loves to skydive and BASE jump. He has jumped in well over half the states in the US and in multiple countries. He shares, “I enjoy many different disciplines of skydiving including wingsuit, freeflying and canopy relative work as well as jumping at night.”
