Three years after the initial ground-breaking, the 265,000 SF new educational facility officially opened on Saturday September 13th. The update and modernization of Joel. E Ferris High School, originally built in 1963, was part of a district-wide educational bond approved by Spokane voters in 2009. In addition to replacing outdated classrooms and administration offices, the campus and it’s students now enjoy new public spaces, including an extended parking lot, and new athletic play fields.
