November 10, 2021 | The Spokane Club (Library)

Every company needs to develop leaders from within its own ranks. Recruiting leaders from outside your company can be expensive, time-consuming, and risky. That is why the ability to develop homegrown talent gives your business a long-term competitive advantage, especially considering the lack of skilled workers. Leadership development does not happen overnight… It begins with recruiting the right people and takes years thereafter.

This module will host a panel of AGC Board Members, and they will be asked a series of questions on developing the ideal leader. They will also be asked about their individual paths to success.

This session will include, but is not limited to, the following topics:
- Succession Planning
- Workforce Development
- Technology
- Aging Workforce
- Motivating Employees
- Essential Skills
- Community Involvement
- Political Participation
- Delivery Methods
- Mentorship Opportunities
