The new 3 story Acute Care wing includes a Physical Therapy center, emergency rooms, laboratory, radiology support, patient rooms and a nursery. The new construction is approximately 50,000 SF. The remodel includes a pharmacy, offices, support services and medical records storage. The remodel is approximately 17,000 SF. This is a multi-phased project that extends over 2 years. The remodel involves abatement, selective demolition and removal of a portion of a 1967 patient wing. All work requires strict compliance with hospital procedures including the following: infection control, noise and vibration limitations to nearby surgical wing and medical transport helicopter operations.
