Renovation of a 1928 brick schoolhouse and 1971 gymnasium for Seattle School District was completed in August 2005. The new 50,000 SF addition, included a cafeteria built on the west side of the existing historic schoolhouse. The entire schoolhouse is undergoing major structural upgrades in order to comply with the latest seismic codes. Elevators were installed in the new addition as well as the existing building.
